Puthiya Niyamam Review: After a lot of expectations and waiting PUTHIYA NIYAMAM, Mammooty- A.K.Sajan film released on 12 th february. The movie didnt disappointed us. A.K.Sajan is a specialist in making script which always have an uncertainity in the expectations of audience. He just make us think in a expected way and divert the story in an unexpected manner. This is how he made his recent films. Puthiya Niyamam is also like that. There is a small suspense in the story that the audience will never think. It is heard that Mammooty and Nayan Thara postponed their committed films to act in the Sajan's film. This made us think there must be something special in the story that made them do so. As expected, sajan succeed in making his movie in a special manner. The film has a thrilling mood and i think this will attract the audience and Mammooty fans to the theatre. The movie tells about the incident happened in the life of Adv. Louis pothan, her wife Vasuki and their child. Mammooty is acting as Adv. Louis pothan and Nayan Thara as Kathakali artist Vasuki. The film is a female oriented one. The character of Nayanhara have more importance than Mammooty. Nayan Thara did her best as Vasuki and Mammooty done his part well. While watching the movie, we felt that some sequences are not syncing. But at the end of the movie, some of the incidents got logic. Rachana Narayanankutty also had a good role in the movie. One of the sad moment is that none of the other characters in the film had done a crucial act. Aju Varghese just came for 2 scenes and it doesnt worked. As a conclusion Puthiya Niyamam is a good attempt and family movie. But the director didnt fully succeed in capture the acting skills from mammuka. His magical performance is still un utilised. Since Maheshinte Prathikaram is turning to be a super hit and Action hero Biju is gwtting good audience response, these two films may become hard competitors for Puthiya Niyamam. But we wish makkuka can rock the party too..
