Martin Prakkat, the Charlie director is a die-hard Mohanlal fan. But the hitmaker is still not confident enough, to direct his favourite actor. Martin revealed the big secret, in the recent interview given to a popular magazine.
According to Martin, he was planning a Mohanlal project after his debut movie, theMammootty starrer Best Actor. But the project shelved at the beginning stage itself, due to various reasons. Instead, he planned another Mammootty project.
But Mammootty, who was busy with some other commitments, advised Martin Prakkat to direct a youthful film and suggested his son Dulquer Salmaan. Later, Martin approached Dulquer and the duo teamed up for ABCD.
The director, who has already entered the top notch with the success of Charlie, says that he will approach Mohanlal again, only after he becomes completely eligible to direct such a brilliant actor. So, a Mohanlal project is not possible soon.
Instead, Martin is planning to team up with Dulquer Salmaan once again, for another project. The director states that Dulquer is a very close friend of him and that friendship makes him comfortable while directing the actor.
